Americans, they dress so elegantly when traveling.
I wish they did! They can be recognized so easily all over the world: Jeans, t-shirts, sweats, sneakers, flip-flops, baseball caps, etc.
My wife and I always laugh about it. She says she can tell Americans just by their shoes. Since she told me that I started wearing leather shoes rather than my comfy sneakers. That’s a big concession!
Is your wife German?
She went to school for a number of years in Cologne and Dusseldorf. She thinks she’s German.
