Yes, I am really in Michigan. My better half is from Grand Rapids, so I will be here until September, interrupted by a press travel to Montreal and Quebec City in July.

Thanks … I have a PhD in English Language – used to teach English as a foreign language at university before I went into journalism. I am surrounded by squirrels in the garden here … as I feed them they love to come. And if the feeder is empty they knock against the terrace door, it’s incredible.
Does that mean we are going to see some Michigan street photography? I’m excited 🙂
Oh well …. not so much to see in the streets of Grand Rapids, but I’ll do my best! When I look out of the window all I see is squirrels, chipmunks, power walkers and their dogs.
