We have 8 squirrels in the garden, at this very moment there are 4 outside eating. They are in a constant fight with the chipmunks. My desk faces the garden, so I watch them all the time.
I had to get used to the big fat squirrels here. Ours in Germany are red, tiny and thin. Also, we don’t have chipmunks in Europe, so when I first saw one running through the garden I thought it was a rat.
