Yes, too bad we didn’t bump into each other, but I usually duck the crowds on the holidays and only come out during the festivals and sleepy off-season. Although, it was a quiet 4th, being the mid-week and no without the long weekend-ers. Looks like you had a productive visit.
We were there for just one hour … then the heat got the better of us and we walked back to the car. It was hard for me to understand how all these people could sit on their blankets along the river in the blazing sun all afternoon without sun shade.
