It is – especially the deserted streets with the “ruins” (empty houses). Once Detroit had 2 million inhabitants, now there are only 700.000. Parts of the city look like Berlin in 1945. Reply ↓

I’m guessing this is because of the decline in the car industry?
Yes, it started in the 1970’s with the oil crisis.
